Yeah clean the disc otherwise its your system.
you might need to download the update for the game so if your not connected to live it wouldnt have updates therefore not being able to be played
my halo 2 disc works fine. i'm still too lazy to download the map packs though despite them being free. it just takes too long to play a game that only has like 2k people at a time playing.
did you not download the update?
