You can connect wireless and wired.Wireless: if you do not have a wireless modem and or the wireless ethernet adapter for the 360 you will need those. You can put the router by your PC and use that to control the LAN that you'd be setting up. Hardwire the PC to the modem (use an ethernet cable straight from the pc to the ethernet input on the router) and then install the ethernet adapter onto the 360 as per the instructions.Wired: You do not need a wireless router or the wireless adapter with a wired LAN. Just connect the PC to the router as you would with the wireless method and then run an ethernet cable from the modem to the input on the 360.These methods should work then. I would go with wireless unless you are running both your PC and the 360 in the same room. I have mine it two different rooms so I've used my Linksys wireless router. Just note that if you do bandwidth intensive actions on your PC while connected to XBL then chances are that your connected to XBL will drop out often. I do not normally game and use my PC at the same time so I haven't had a problem with signouts on Live. But it's something to keep in mind.
