im only a level and i i have done following in his footsteps and galaxy news radio and my friends were like level 9's what should i do to get more exp. helpful tips would be well appreciatedFallout 3 exp help

well i'm sort off having the same problembut i can help you anyways. turn up your dificulty (very hard) and go hunt some mole rats or rad roaches (or even better yaou gai or deathclaws) my problem is i killed most things cant find a desent place to train and i saved before finishing the game.also do the quest moria brown gives you in megaton shes at craterside suply it will get you started also followers are an incredible help specially fawkes
Did you do all of the side-quests that the people of Megaton give you? Do the Greyditch mission and the one up in Arafu with The Family if you haven't yet. There are a lot of small things that you can do as well. Hack computers you find. Explore.
Yeah, if you're up to GNR and Following Footsteps and are level 7, you don't have anything to worry about. Just play the game and do the side quests, you'll get to Lvl 20 no worries.



But if you're really keen on XP, go talk to Bittercup in Big Town, be very nice to her, then go talk to Pappy, and select the 'Speech 100%' option. It won't disappear, and you can keep getting unlimited XP from him. This will raise your level as high as 20. Just remember the enemies level up as you do. So if you've got poor weapons, it may not be a great idea. Up to you tho :)
There's no set level to be aiming for. You could probably finish the main story at level 7 if you wanted. You will gain more experience as you play. Like me, for example, I just played at my own pace and reached level 20 in around 20 hours (might have been less than that). You gain experience by killing things, hacking computers, completing quests, speech successes, picking locks etc.
