How else could it update? Yeah, you have to be connected to Live. You need to be online for Netflix. how do i..

call microsoft about it they put the update on a disc for u and mail it
if you can't get online why would you even want the update. You can't watch netflix, or share your avatar. The only new thing you could do would be to install your discs to your HDD, which is a completely useless feature anyway.

no i was joking. i have no idea how to get NXE offline, but read my other post, if you can't get online, it's virtually useless to you anyway, unless you really want to create an avatar for your own personal enjoyment

Microsoft's website claims they will send out a disc if anyone asks. I found this out when I was cruising the help section when my old 360 got RRoD.
