i hate online achievements since 99% of the time it requires luck not skill, which makes it really hard.which type of achievement you don't like ...
you definetly forgot about the worst kind of achievements of all time: ''at some point possess the highest ranking on the online leaderboards''which type of achievement you don't like ...
Team based multiplayer achievements.
Hidden package ones. I Don't have the time to find 100 birds. and kill them.
I hate the collection achievements who really has the time for that
Collecting achievements.
Collecting achievements.
I must agree.
I personally don't like the achievements that are so easy to obtain that you realize the developers were being uncreative... for example: ''Achievment Unlocked: started the game'' ....lol
0G Achievements (in particular Championship Manager 2007 which has 3 secret achievements which are all worth 0G).
2nd Option - Finding all packagesjust very annoying imo
collect em all overall probs simply because of the time it takes and how tedious and boring it is. but a close second are online achievements were boosting seems to be the only legit way of getting them :P (theres some irony for ya)
Online achievements, and Fallout 3's good, bad, neutral Karma achievements, do they really want me to play the whole game again. Is there a way to cheat
Get X kills with weapon Y in game mode Z online
Some are made so unlikely to happen randomly that they force people to boost to get it, and players boosting can spoil the online for the others in the match that just want to play normally.
The achievements I absolutely hate are non-stackable achievements (like in previous Guitar Hero games and the collectibles achievements in Fallout 3), unrewarding achievements (achievements that don't give you sufficient benefits in the game and/or Gamerscore), and most online achievements (Seriously ..., Seriously 2.0, etc.).
Collectibles achievements, or any achievements where you have to find/interact with a certain number of things, can be a pain, but I don't mind them all that much; I will complete them if I really like the game. Like in Fallout 3, I got all of the Vault-Tech bobbleheads and weapon schematics because not only do they give you an adequate amount of Gamerscore, but they're actually beneficial in the game. GTA IV's birds and stunt jumps weren't really beneficial to the game, but I did all of them because I love the franchise so much. Same with Gears and the COG tags/collectibles in Gears 1 and 2 respectively; I liked the game so I did them.
But most importantly and overall, if getting an achievement involves the failure to abide by the reason video games are played - to have fun and entertain yourself - then I won't bother getting them. I may do it if they're really easy to get, but that's very rare for me (I used to be the kind of person who would play games like Avatar just for more Gamerscore, but not anymore).
I hate achievments on games like Rock Band where you have to finish stuff on expert. I don't have the time or desire to accomplish things like this.
only game i playd atm is gear 2 cos i jus got me own 360 bu i h8 the 1 with multiplay like for e.g. i never get to play gardenen cos every1 vote either warzone or the exucution so i dont even got a chance to get 10 win rounds on that :S
I despise finding hidden packages :P
I don't mind finding x amount of items or things where after you are finished you feel like you actually accomplished something. The only type of achievement that I really hate are the ones where if you don't buy the game as soon as it comes out, there is no way to get it without boosting. Because I can't buy most games as soon as they come out, and by the time I can buy it at a discounted price, the online community has moved on to a new game so I can't get the multiplayer achievements, and especially the ''Reach the top of the leaderboards'' ones.
Do ''x'' in ''y'' amount of times in MP.as if winning consistently in that broken matchmaking system isnt hard enough......
No has mentioned secret achievements! What's the point in them? You've got nothing to aim for and when you get them it's more ''Oh'' than ''Yay!'' lolIf I see secret achievements I come to this site and find out what they are.
