So I just got my 120 GB HDD, but my 360 has to go to the shop (see my blog for more details). Anyways...1. When I move my stuff from the 20GB to the 120GB HDD, will the preloaded demos, trailers, etc. on the 120GB be accessible afterwards?2. My console is NXE-ified. So does that mean I have to go through a short update process to get the HDD NXE-ified as well? (post-transfer)3. When running the disc, will it have the NXE interface or the pre-NXE interface? 120GB transfer
Please?120GB transfer
I recently transfered my data onto a 120GB HDD (using the disk %26 cable)
Everything i had on my 20GB HDD worked fine after transfer...the only downside being, i have to connect to xbox live before i can play my 'live arcade' games (if i dont connect to live, they show up as 'free trials'...not the full game's) This happens when u download something then change the console or HDD u 1st downloaded it onto...
...Its microsofts cr@ppy way of checking u own the license!
I think once u transfer to the bigger HDD, it will be NXE-ified...as the update should transfer from yr smaller HDD
(hope that helps?)

Thinking about getting a 120 or even 60, hate only being able to have one game on the hard drive.

DO IT!! i got a 120 gb right before the nxe update and i love it. i dont have to worry about space, since i only had like 5 gb left on my 20. and i keep like 3 games installed and it runs much quiter. JOIN US!!!
I know the 120gb hard drive comes with a transfer cable. Does the 60gb hard drive come with a transfer cable?

I have heard it doesn't. I went out a few weeks ago and got the 120GB. While it is very expensive, it is worth it if you want to install more than one game at a time. I have plenty installed and still have loads of space left, it's great!
I know with the 60 you get 3 months of gold free, is their a deal for the 120?

Nope, all you get (or at least what I got) is the HDD, transfer cable, disc, and manual.
Actually, my new HDD is sitting here unopened, waiting for my 360 to get back.

I know; I hope I get a new console back (hopefully with HDMI/Jasper) instead of a refurb'd one.
Anyway, thanks for the help, guys.
PS, does anyone know how much the trade-in value is for the 20GB?
